How to Assemble and Mount a Standalone Battery Backup System
Who Can Install a Standalone Backup Power System?

Upon taking delivery, all Medi-Products standalone systems need some assembly, but they are fully plug-and-play once put together. This means no licensed electrician or contractor is required for installation.
- No special tools
- No specialized skills
- No licenses
- No permits
What Tools Are Needed to Assemble and Install a Backup Power System?

Every Medi-Products backup generator comes with all the necessary hardware for assembly and mounting, including:
- Self-Drilling Screws
- Drywall Anchors
- Battery Cables
- Other Miscellaneous Hardware
To mount the system, you’ll need to use either the studs in your wall or the drywall itself.
You will need to supply the following tools for assembly and mounting:
- A Phillips-Head Screwdriver (for attaching the battery covers and cabinet(s))
- A Stud Finder (if you choose to mount it to the studs)
- A Drill Set
Once the system is mounted, its weight is supported by the floor and the system’s feet, with the wall primarily providing stabilization and bearing very little of the weight.

- Remove the battery covers.
- Attach the feet and any extra battery cabinets.
